A Full Roundup of Emily’s Best Parisian-Inspired Outfits

Ah, Emily in Paris. Whether you loved it, hated it, binged it or tried (and failed) to avoid it, you can’t deny that it served up some très chic fashion.

ICYMI: the show follows Emily (Lily Collins), an ambitious early-twenties marketing executive from Chicago, who unexpectedly lands a job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company. She is sent to France to help revamp their social media strategy but finds she has to work hard to win over her new colleagues. Outside work, she dates, makes friends, drinks wine at streetside bars (ouh là là) and, naturally, goes shopping.

It’s a Netflix Original, created and written by Darren Starr of the equally glossy and fashion-forward series Sex and the City and, more recently, Younger.

While much of the show is teeth-grindingly twee (and, in places, offensive), it’s a rather enjoyable piece of escapism, if for no other reason than the utterly indulgent fashion in every shot. In fact, if you Google “Emily in Paris”, the first option that comes up is “Emily in Paris outfits”.

With the help of the internet, we’ve hunted down five of Emily’s best outfits from the show, so you can live your Parisian dream (without ever getting on a plane).

Where to Buy Emily in Paris Outfits

The Yellow Dress

Emily wears this black and yellow combo when she meets Mindy for the first time, in the park where Mindy is watching the children she nannies.

It’s one of the most-searched-for outfits of the whole show, and it’s actually a silk cami and skirt from Danish brand Ganni.

Unlike many of the clothing items in the show, these pieces are still available. You can pick up the camiand the skirt, both on Yoox. The belt is Rag & Bone ($415 and sold out) and the bag is a Patricia Field work of art, but you’ll struggle to find one of your own.

The Hot-Pink outfit

In episode nine, Emily is feeling herself as a boss babe, and she struts her stuff in this bold power outfit.

The sweater is Sandro (it’s currently out of stock at Selfridges), the skirt is Chiara Ferragni (due to be restocked soon at Farfetch), and the fabulous, show-stopping coat is Kenzo (also back in stock soon at Farfetch). The shoes are not knee-high pink boots, as I originally thought, but pink socks worn with the most glorious pink Christian Louboutin pumps .

The Colour Block Coat

At another moment in episode nine, Emily strolls the streets of Paris draped in this utterly delightful coat (can we just take a moment to appreciate her strong coat game throughout the series?). It’s from River Island, and if you can see yourself in it, you can pick it up on ASOS for about $140.

The Night at the Ballet

In episode six, Emily needs to go to the ballet to snag a meeting with Pierre Cadault and she doesn’t miss the opportunity to dress the part. This divine off-the-shoulder tea dress with the sheer skirt is Christian Siriano at Farfetch (which says it’s getting it back in stock soon).

The Check Suit

In episode three, Emily goes tres French with a beret and this incredible Veronica Beard check double-breasted blazer and shorts suit. Suit envy? We’ve got it.
