This Luxury Home Gym Equipment is Both Stylish And Sustainable

If your at-home workout needs a bit of an update, look to this range of gym equipment that’s sleek and surprisingly sustainable.

German-based NOHrD, which is named for the company’s location in county Nordhorn (NOH), Deutschland (D), makes wooden commercial and home exercise equipment from sustainable wood.

The company handcrafts each piece in their specific manufacturing facility in a way that means no wood or bark is wasted. They use solar electricity that they extract from their own panels, so they create negligible emissions.

NOHrD exclusively uses solid wood sourced from local and American sustainably managed forests, which is preserved with natural oil. Many of their products also incorporate leather, which is sourced from Germany and hand-worked with vegetable tanning for an authentic and pleasing leather smell.

The use of natural materials means each piece of gym equipment is unique, and the high-quality materials ensure they’re attractive.

Each piece of equipment is made with top of the line precision technology and some even use water to create resistance—so you know you’re getting a great workout in a sustainable way.

Look good and feel good (about the environment and your environment) with this luxury eco home-gym.

Here are a few of our favourite pieces of equipment:
