I Have a Feeling This French Fashion Brand Is About to Be Huge

It’s no secret that French women have impeccable fashion, so it should come as no surprise when new amazing brands emerge from the woodwork — but lo and behold, every time a new French fashion brand pings on my social radar, obsession ensures.

The latest brand to set me off? Tiphaine Guiran.

Scrolling down my Instagram feed, I came across one of my favourite French-girl fashion muses, Anne Laure Mais. In a classic look, consisting of jeans, flip flops and a crop top, something about the outfit just seemed so effortlessly cool. I guess that’s the je ne sais quoi in action.

Paired with her slightly baggy Levi’s, the gingham crop top is what really made the outfit shine. Purple and red gingham, long-sleeved, and perfectly tailored, I couldn’t help but wonder where she got it.

Fast forward to a few tag clicks and minutes of scrolling, and I’m convinced I’ve just found a brand that’s going to be big. While there’s minimal information on the brand’s website and Instagram page, there is enough to leave me feeling convinced that this is the start of something great.

Every piece is perfectly tailored in fun fabrics, blending the traditional with the trendy. Though the first inklings of the brand only appear on the namesake designer’s Instagram beginning a mere thirteen weeks ago, every single item is already sold out online. Talk about instant success.

From what I can glean from the brand’s IG bio, the line is also sustainable, fighting back against the fast-fashion impulses that seem to dictate the fashion industry today. Each piece is made-to-order, meaning no leftover stock left to collect dust and create waste. On top of that, the garments are crafted from leftover fabric, presumably deadstock from other clothing, which would otherwise end up in the landfill.

Safe to say this brand deserves a follow. I don’t know about you, but I’ll be watching very closely for the next drop to be announced. Something tells me it’ll go fast.
